You're paying so you can choose what to work on. Perhaps class training may not fit your schedule or you want to work on specifics. You
could have no prior martial art or self defence training, so we'd start
from scratch and work our way up the skill levels. Or, perhaps you have
knowledge of striking techniques but wish to add weapon defences to
your repertoire. Krav Maga is renowned for it's techniques against a variety of weapons, including knife, stick and gun. TPT can
also be used to improve your cardio vascular capacity. Instead of
getting bored witless on the gym's treadmill you will improve your
fitness while learning to defend yourself. And I don't mean kicking and
punching to music type stuff. Women sometimes feel uncomfortable
training in a mixed class and in regards to self defence, their
requirements can differ from men. For one, they usually have more sense
than to get involved in a brawl but could gain greater benefit from
learning defences against grabs, holds or escapes from the ground. This
will also improve confidence and help when aggression has to be shown. Children can benefit from TPT. They
learn not only basic self defence but awareness techniques that help them to spot and avoid potential threats or dangers. TPT training
can be done individually or get a few of your friends, co-workers
together and lessen the amount each person would pay for a 1 to 1
